Biography: Dollie married John MacDonald, or ‘Ain Dungain, in 1954 – he wa a widower then, his wife having died in 1937 or thereabouts. She moved into ‘Ain Dungain’s house. John MacDonald is buried in the old cemetery with his first wife. Dollie’s father was John MacRae (‘Ain Dearaig); her mother was Ann Gillies. Dollie spent her time looking after her parents until they died, and then her mother’s brothers and sisters.
